Tiny Tear is me, Tine Reingaard, a Danish filmmaker specializing in directing, film photography, and editing.
I am based in Copenhagen – my home and the starting point for all adventures in my life.
Since I was very young, I have had a desire to express myself creatively. I have played music since childhood and hold a degree in Music Science. This grounding in music significantly influences my approach to filmmaking, shaping the way I conceptualize and edit my films.
I thrive in the intersection of the commercial and the artistic, and I love to collaborate and explore.
My path as a filmmaker commenced when I lived in Berlin, where I produced video interviews with various bands.
Subsequently, I ventured into documentary filmmaking, eventually expanding my repertoire to include music videos and a diverse range of corporate projects.
Alongside these endeavors, I consistently work on my own artistic projects, which have garnered global recognition through exhibitions worldwide.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed artists such as New Order and Arctic Monkeys. Moreover, my work has been showcased in renowned museums and galleries across Kyoto, Los Angeles, Copenhagen, and Sydney.
My educational background encompasses studies in Berlin, Bolzano, and Copenhagen, equipping me with fluency in four languages.
I hold a Master of Arts from Copenhagen University, as well as diploma degrees from the Danish Short and Documentary Film School and Jørgen Leth’s private film school, Ecole de Leth.
I love travelling and engaging in work and projects across the globe.
